You are not a winner until…
When I used to deal blackjack, I saw winners and losers every day.
The longer someone played, more often then not they turned out to be a loser.
This was not only true of blackjack but all the other games I dealt as well.
You are not a winner until you walk away.
Once when I was on night shift, I saw one of my players win $19,000 with a $300 buy in. Once he had won $10,000, at the risk of my job I said he should cash in and get the casino to give him a check for half the amount at least. I did this because he was tipping me. Needless to say, the pit boss and floor person watched at first to see if he was card counting. He wasn’t, he was just getting the breaks on stiff hands and playing a weak basic strategy. He lost it all before my shift was over.
So have a goal of how much you can afford to win. If that sounds crazy think of it this way. If I win $500, I am going to take half and put it away, get a check, or give it to my nonplaying spouse and play with the other $250. If I win $1 million, congratulations to me! If I lose the $250 I am still $250 ahead. (comprende? verstayn? intende?
Have a nice day,

An apple is not an orange
In talking about blackjack, one has to be aware of something. Today in this multichoice world
there are many different flavors. There is muti action, Spanish, progressive, over under, etc. in this case the original when you can find it, is still the best. Casinos never offer something new to you, the player, unless it benefits them.
Of all the variations of blackjack to play, only multi-action is favorable to you the player and we will explain that later on.
A standard blackjack game will pay 3 to 2 on blackjack, offers splitting and re-splitting, doubling, hopefully on any two cards and the dealer will stand on a soft 17. This game is generally dealt from a multi-deck shoe because the inherent advantage over the player is minimal and can almost be totally negated by perfect basic strategy alone.
A recent and extremely popular variation of the game sometimes called super fun 21 offers a single deck game.
Now many people who have played blackjack have the imperfect knowledge that they have an advantage against the dealer in a single deck game or that it is a better game to play then the shoe game.
An Apple is not an orange though. Here’s why.
If the casinos offered a single deck game with the rules I mentioned above you’d be watching me play (I’d be there before you!
).
What they do, however, is this. They make one simple change, instead of a 3 to 2 blackjack payoff,
they offer a 6to5 black jack payoff. Just a minor change right? Won’t hurt a thing right? Not!
When casinos offer this change, they have almost a 2% advantage against the player. This is as opposed to less than a 1% advantage of a multideck game with the rules I mentioned above.
Playing this variation or for that matter any variation of the the multiple action blackjack is a bad bet.
Re: multiple action blackjack, it has the same basic strategy as regular multideck blackjack. It is more profitable for the casinos because in certain hand’s the player has to make a decision to take a card for multiple hands and sometimes they will be stiffs and the player will break. The player has a fear of losing multiple hands and will vary racing strategy in a negative way. Card counters love multiple action blackjack because they get “more bang for the buck.”

have a great day,
The VIG Today
Hi my name is Bill Hash. The VIGONLINE is a website devoted to help you become a better gambler. In these initial weekly blogs (becoming daily tips) we’ll investigate the casino games with the best odds, best bets and strategies to maximize your fun in the casinos.
Here’s a simple tip. The games of chance which force you to learn something will give you the best odds. So Blackjack and Craps allow you the best odds in the casino, if you are willing to learn. They can also give you some of the worst. Learn nothing about blackjack and you can have a 95% losing rate if you take cards till you break
every time. The 5% you keep are the naturals(blackjacks) you receive. So whatever game you decide to play you must study a little to improve your odds.
If you play Craps in the casino without any knowledge and just play the field for instance You’ll lose 5.56 % of the time on average. The game is continually moving and the goal of any casino craps game is to keep the dice rolling. Casinos love it when a craps game is roaring and loud because players will bet more on single numbers where the casino edge is higher.
Betting the any 7 might seem like a good bet because a seven rolls more frequently than any other number. However the bet only pays 4 to 1 and those rates you the player has an almost 17% disadvantage.
If you want to learn craps take a quick pic at the trailer for LETS PLAY CRAPS one of the DVD’s . You’ll see the beginning of a dice come out roll. Hey you can order it and have it shipped by Createspace.com a division of Amazon.com. Your transaction will be handled by PayPal.com use your credit card.
